Old Bridge

The guitar duo The Old Bridge consists of two members of the famous Mostar Sevdah Reunion: Miso Petrovic and Sandi Durakovic. The musicians and singers have a refined guitar technique and special sounds that make many guitar players envious. The trio brings a repertoire of Bosnian, Serbian, Macedonian and gipsy sevdalinka's, moving and upbeat music, party music, love songs and dance music. Also Greek Sirtaki, Hungarian gipsy music and Hot Club de France, here and there mixed with contemporary music like Pink Floyd and Rolling Stones.

The pleasure and apparent ease with which these musicians make music together, they easily convey to their audiences.

The Old Bridge is named after the in origin Roman bridge in Mostar, on the Neretva River in Bosnia-Herzegovina. This bridge connects the Muslim and Christian quarters, but is simultaneously a symbol of the laceration that has long plagued the city. A bridge between East and West, tradition and innovation, different cultures and religions.
