Phunklife
At the age of 16, Phunklife got a guitar for his birthday. That same day he wrote his first song. Motivated by the result Phunklife soon dropped out of school to create the time to develop his musical skills. After playing guitar and bass in a few funk and rock bands, the age of electronics provided new opportunities for him. After a while Phunklife left his band and started to focus on electronic dance music.
Having started performing at underground parties, his love for the scene grew. At these gigs, he created his unique blend of funk, electro and techhouse which led to performances at De Tagrijn (NL), Club 8 (NL), The Zion (NL), Ruigoord (NL), ADM (NL), Tacheles (Berlin, GE) and many “secret” parties.
Having gained a steady fan base over the last decades, Phunklife started promoting his music among his favorite DJ's. His tracks have been played at all the great Festivals and Clubs in Holland, with the support of DJ's like Angelo d'Onorio, Taho and DJ Dimitri.
Currently working on 'Math Problem Saga', Phunklife is heading to a new level of experiencing house music. Energetic and soulful, always funky and uplifting with a dash of fog. Phunklife never fails to get the audience going due to his open style and warm energy. With his new tracks, supported by DJ Dimitri, BoB Swans and Dj MCecile, Phunklife shows he is ready for the future!
