Primos del Norte

Flamenco speaks directly to the heart.  in one way or another, each melody evokes our daily experience. The compositions are sometimes funny, sometimes sarcastic, sometimes dramatically. They are tributes to all things dear and near. To what belongs to all. To watch and listen quietly.

Arturo Ramon graduated in 2003 as a flamenco guitarist in Rotterdam, with which he responded to the Spanish blood in his veins. The Argentine Erminia Fernández Córdoba moved to Spain at age one and went to the Netherlands in 1998 to study music. Match-make these artists with an intelligent percussionist who regularly shows up at famous jazz venues.... and you have Primos del norte!

Primos del Norte was founded in 2000 and brings its own compositions alongside flamenco traditionals. Since the formation of the group they played at various venues in the midland. But also Belgium, Spain and Turkey have been able to meet this stylish ensemble.
