Slew Jones

Four rocking men. Steamy songs. Catchy melodies. Raw and rough. Full of adrenaline, loaded with feel good rock 'n' roll. You can't stand still...

As young guys, dreaming of big record deals and crowded stadiums, they formed a band in the '90s and started working. It resulted in several CD's, performances as the support-act of great Dutch artists like Tröckener Kecks, gigs on festivals like Hilversum Alive and Vathorst Now and in venues like Stairway to Heaven in Utrecht and Paradiso, Amsterdam.

After a few years of going on low ebb, Slew Jones is totally 'back in action'. A little bit older and wiser, but meanly more eagerly than ever before. In 2008 the CD 'Phone Conversations' was released and in 2010 the album 'Fool a Frog'.

'Fool a Frog' brings you eleven stunning songs. The album was partly recorded by Dick Kok of DK-Music, and partly at The Shed, Slew's own recording studio in Amersfoort. With great results! In March 2010 the band presented the CD on a big swirling Slew Party in the Ijsbreker in Leusden, their homeground. New songs like In & Out, Underground and Get You Out were blown of the stage. The song Up has already been played on Radio 538.
